There is nothing that can stand in the way of the love that a father feels for his child, especially the way he feels about his little princess.

Connections
Connections between people are everywhere you look. From parents to their children, siblings, and even the friendships that have been made along the way. My daughter Savannah (#13) started playing soccer with her best friend Chloe (#4, who is beside Savannah turned around) a few months ago. The connection between them goes back many, many years....even before they were born. I have been friends with Chloe's mom since we were about 4 years old or younger and our mothers have been friends since they were in their 20's. There is a bond between us all that only continues to grow stronger every hour, everyday and each year.
There is nothing that can stand in the way of the love that a father feels for his child, especially the way he feels about his little princess.
Please continue around out blog circle to see more about the "everyday moments" and "connections" beginning with the very talented Kim Dupree http://www.kimdupreephotography.com/?p=1240

March ~ Around Town
This months theme is "Around Town" this had us all coming out of our comfort zone and carrying our cameras in public (yes, we all have our cameras in public for photo shoots but this is different). There are so many things around my town from grocery stores to little shopping centers and even my girls favorite - the park. As I thought about this months theme I knew I wanted to capture images of things that are more likely than not overlooked on a daily basis. So there were only a handful of nice days here in Maryland in March, so I had to make the most of it.
The first day of spring had finally arrived and to celebrate my husband and I took the girls to get some Rita's Italian Ice. As we were leaving I couldn't help but notice that the tree in my front yard had started to bloom. The buds were a happy indication that the warm days of spring were just around the corner.

Once we had our Italian Ice and soft serve ice cream in hand we proceeded to find a table outside so we could enjoy the nice weather. As I was sitting there enjoying the moment with my family my eyes started following the umbrella on our table up and I couldn't help but notice all the lines at the top of the umbrella - they had all these magical photographic qualities that just drew your eyes attention.
The bench at our table had a pattern that caught my eye.
Our plan was to take the kids to the park to enjoy themselves, but mother nature had other plans and decide to keep our area under the cold winter temperatures. So I went to the park solo because obviously it was too cold for the kids. Again I just took the everyday objects around town and focused on them.

February ~ New
Welcome to the first installment of a monthly collaborative photo project I am thrilled to be participating in with several talented photographers whom I have met through a recent photography class. This project concentrates on focusing on our everyday moments. Together we will share our images at the end of each month focusing on various sub-themes related to the over-arching theme of Everyday Moments. As we all know, life slips by very quickly and the images shared will be small glimpses into our everyday lives. It also provides us a place to share images that may or may not be technically perfect, these are the ones that pull at our heartstrings. I invite you to follow along with me on this project.
Our theme for February is "New". My children are so much a huge part of my everyday life and I love to capture all the little details about them. The girls both love Thomas the Train right now and so I captured a few pictures of their new trains while they were playing. Looking back on these images years from now I will be transformed to this moment in time and smile (and I'm sure shed a few tears) with such sweet memories of our girls.

Here is a little new mixed with the old....a new rose mixed with older ones. New Stompeez for Valentine's Day!
Feel free to join along with us. Check out Natalie, who is taking part in the project with me. http://wp.me/p39Vw8-b
